We are a small voluntary group of local people, tackling lots of environmental, community and sustainable projects within Bakewell, as part of RHS Britain in Bloom.

All this is possible through the generous funding we receive from grants and donations from members of our community plus our connections with other Bakewell groups such as the WI and the Bakewell allotments, BGA.

We work with the continued support of:
Derbyshire District Council, Derbyshire Dales, Haddon Hall Estate, Bakewell Town Council, Peak District National Park Authority and the CVS.

Lord Edward Manners is our patron.

Recent achievements include:

RHS Gold Award 2019.

RHS Gold Award 2018.

RHS Silver-Gilt Award 2017.

RHS Gold Award 2015.

  • We meet up on the first Monday of every month, with activities running continuously throughout the year.
  • More volunteers always welcome.
